Call Committee Report

.The call committee has called Pastor Ader as our new pastor. He is now considering the call.

Kids in Christ Kingdom

Kids in Christ Kingdom will be starting Wednesday, September 7, 2005 at 6:30-7:45 PM with a Family Fellowship Night for all.

It is mandatory that a parent, grandparent, or someone attend and be present with them. Meet the child’s teacher. Registration forms need to be updated and completed. Older children 3 rd grade-8 th grade medical forms and permission slips need to be filled out.  

Ladies Aid Picnic

The Ladies Aid will be having their picnic on Thursday, August 4 at noon at the Open Shelter House at Lake Wazeecha. Please bring a dish to pass. All ladies of the Congregation are invited.

Teacher Training

Kid's in Christ Kingdom Needs Teachers and Substitutes. Are you a member of St. John? Your membership is the only requirement needed to teach! "God doesn't call people who are qualified. He calls people who are willing, and then He qualifies them." Teacher Training will be August 15 at 7:00 PM. An example of a Lesson in the Lower Grades and an example of a Lesson in the Upper Grades will be shared. Come with an open mind and open heart and Listen, make your decision after you have heard all the information. Jesus said, "Go and make disciples...baptize and teach... "

A Teacher's and Group Guide Meeting will be on the following Monday, August 22 at 7:00 PM.

Donations For Cemetery

 Donations Are Needed: Lime is needed for the Cemetery grounds. The Terrill’s have volunteered to spread the Lime. Anyone wishing to help with the expense of the Lime is asked to place their donation in the basket near the display in the Narthex. Also a watch as been found at the Cemetery. Contact Sue Alft 424-2389.
